Cleveland is located in Ohio; it’s the state’s second-most-populous city and also the scariest one in the whole country.
Cleveland is known to be the capital of serial killers in the world, without knowing why; the city has experienced a noticeable production of serial killers as well as many horrific crimes that are still under investigation until this moment.
In fact, it has been found that some victims got disjoint and hidden all around the killer’s property, some were kidnapped and tortured and others were just slowly murdered while the killer enjoyed every second of it.
Just the idea of walking the same streets where killers are practically living with their scary killing thoughts is creepy enough and very convincing to never live in Cleveland. Yet, quick visits will be fine because, after all, the city has the Rock and Roll hall of fame!

#3 – Johannesburg, South Africa

This city suffers from the most disturbing issues that may turn your stomach upside down. From AIDS to a rape culture and even pedophilia! That’s right. Johannesburg is the largest city in South Africa and these horrifying problems are the reasons why FIFA WORLD CUP wasn’t held there.
The issue got out of control when AIDS started spreading at an alarming rate and so people started going to traditional healers, but since this city is known for its strong traditional belief, they actually believed anything those “healers” would tell them.
The latter savants advised them to make out with virgins because their blood is so pure it can cure AIDS. Obviously, this only has made things much worse and very dangerous for any outsider who may decide to move or even visit Johannesburg.

#4 – Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

How would you feel living in a city where you can witness homeless children getting addicted to drugs and the government murdering them every day? Me neither!
This issue has been noticed when the Olympics Games took place in the city.
The government attempted to “clean” the city from the homeless by committing inhuman crimes because they don’t want foreigners to be disturbed by the heartbreaking sight of little children begging for food or money to buy drugs.
But their attempts weren’t good enough to hide the ugly truth from anyone. Although the government never confirmed this news, it’s widely known for Brazilian police to simply kill dozens every year. Anyway, living in the streets of Rio de Janeiro is simply the worst, and being around all that will not be fun at all.

#5 – Fukushima, Japan

After the energy accident that happened in Fukushima, the city is still suffering from the consequences of that old disaster. The damaged reactor is still not controlled at this moment and the citizens still have years till they get back to their normal life.
Not only that, the wild has been taking over the city, the forest is reforming and has already evolved around the city ruining many houses in addition to the wild animals that are managing to own the city as well, including the wild boars.
The weird fact is that radiation must have affected them because they became much more unafraid and aggressive than before which could make them dangerous for humans.
To top that all, after the accident, studies have shown that the radiation has caused mysterious cancer and it’s even affecting local children. But people argue that it was already an issue.
In both cases, it might be too late for the city to become a safe and a healthy environment for you to move in and for the human race in general.

#6 – London, Ontario

As far as what the city has recorded, London contained the highest concentration of serial killers between 1959 and 1984 and it is the highest number per city in the entire world. There were 29 crimes by serial killers, and strangely enough, only 13 of them were solved.
The serial killers have emerged very fast, and at the same time, the University of Western Ontario has suggested that all the unsolved crimes had been done by only four serial killers, who used very unusual and advanced methods.
However, these crimes have suddenly disappeared in the eighties, which could mean that the serial killers are gone or just did not pass on their sacred methods of murder to the next generation (thankfully).
But all these incidents with their sudden appearance and disappearance can scare anyone off from staying in the city for a long time because who knows, it could reappear anytime from now.

#7 – Pyongyang, North Korea

As everyone knows, North Korea is a dictatorship country that has the most draconian, strict and outrageous laws and rules in the whole world.
If you live in Pyongyang, you have to hang pictures of all leaders that ruled the country in your house –it’s a must for all citizens- and of course, this rule applies in public places too.
Furthermore, all citizens are destined to be waking up to a very loud obnoxious music that one of their departed leaders, Kim Jong II wrote because he enjoyed writing Opera. They play “Where are you dear general” through loudspeakers and it sounds like horror movies but more realistic.
After listening to the Opera, North Korea decided that maybe the message was not clear enough so the citizens have to listen to propaganda through loudspeakers again all day everywhere.
So the question here is: Do you still think your morning alarm is disturbing? Or you want to spice it up and wake up to Opera through loudspeakers?

#8 – Ecatepec, Mexico

It is perfectly normal to hear about daily robberies in Ecatepec. The locals are actually very poor so they tend to commit these crimes in order to survive. Even the Pope Francis decided to pass by and see how real it is and it was described to be a disgusting city.
Even worse, the city has the highest rate of disappearance of young women. All over the city, there are pictures of missing girls hanging on the streets in hope that parents will someday reunite with their daughters.
Kidnappers contact parents to trade their daughters for cash, and what makes this scarier, when there is no money to get the little girls, the kidnappers either kill them or sell them into slavery.
The ultimate hope of all citizens is to leave the city as many did before, but with the lack of money, most of them have to live there facing these horrific incidents every day.

#9 – Onitsha, Nigeria

Combine a poor powerless government and a rapidly growing city; you will have the most polluted city in the world. The air condition in Onitsha is literally unbearable and it’s not healthy at all for any living creature.
Weirdly, the citizens never complained and most of them are not even aware of how bad their quality of air is, maybe they adapted to it but there had been so many premature deaths recorded within the last couple of years.
Despite everything, the sanitation efforts in the city are barely existing, and the amount of dirt and garbage that the city is surrounded by is uncomfortably very noticeable. So, for obvious reasons, living in Onitsha could be a mistake that you may cost you your life.

#10 – Mumbai, India

No matter how interesting and beautiful the culture and traditions in India, Mumbai is literally disappearing and drowning under its own trash. This issue has got so out of control that the trash trucks are currently tossing garbage in an already full landfill.
It has been suggested to add another landfill but it was certain that the problem will only get worse. The government is trying very hard to find a quick solution and the citizens are starting to throw their garbage in their junkyard or burn it themselves which basically pollute the air.
With a population of 21.3 Million (as for 2016) and with a problem like this, you can imagine the disaster all the citizens in Mumbai are suffering from.
