Recently, the US Department of state gave a rating to every country in the world stating which and why some countries are dangerous for tourists. The places that Americans are advised to avoid are considered Level 4 while the safest ones are ranked Level 1.
So, if you are planning to visit one of these countries, prepare yourself for highly risking your safety and security.

Belize became one of the fastest growing destinations for Americans, but also one of the most dangerous places. It is a harsh statement but it is true!
Lately, Belize has experienced many violent crimes such as armed robbery, sexual assault and even murder. Sadly, the local police barely move a finger when it comes to criminal incidents, which double the danger.
Crimes happen in the paradise of Belize way too often that the travel advisory state insists ‘exercise increased caution’ in Belize. It was noticed that 45 of 100.000 people are killed annually compared to just 4 in the United States which makes Belize a more dangerous nation than America.

It is shocking to find the land of romance and Croissant on this list. The Travel Advisory states that France is vulnerable to terrorism more than ever, making it a very dangerous destination for couples and families.
The travel advisory also mentioned that terrorist groups aim to attack with no warning at all, this means your security and safety is always at risk whether in public or private locations. Terrorism will remain a threat to the beautiful country, hoping for the government to have it under control anytime soon.

The chance to eat pasta from a real Italian chef in a real Italian restaurant decreased when terrorists decided to make their way through the country. Same as France, the travel advisory insisted ‘exercise increased caution’ due to terrorism.
Terrorists are likely to attempt to attack places frequented by foreigners, causing an intense fear to discover the country freely. The Italian authorities arrested big numbers of individuals who were indirectly linked to ISIS and other extremist groups.

Yes, the Bahamas (Shedding a tear over this one)! Due to the increase in violent crimes, the travel advisory insists on paying caution to armed robberies, burglaries, and sexual assault, especially during the day and in tourist locations.
Furthermore, the U.S government personnel are not allowed in Nassau due to those violent crimes. So, in order to visit the Bahamas and have a good time, make sure you are fully aware of any possible risk that may come your way, and avoid empty streets.

Terrorists seem to ruin all the beautiful places on our beloved globe! Again, terrorism has taken over this popular tourist destination as well. According to the travel advisory, terrorists plot attacks with no warning at all and they always target places frequented by tourists and foreigners.
We know it is nearly impossible not to visit great palaces and parks while you are in Spain, but caution is advised. You may try to witness the ride of bulls though; terrorists can’t attack a place where humans and bulls are running, right?

The paradise is under attack by terrorists as well! They target islands more often because it lengthens the response time by the authorities. In November 2017, the government confirmed that they caught a number of men who were involved in terrorism.
Studies have shown that the ministry of Islamic affairs has encouraged extremism and terroristic beliefs in the past. Most likely, there have been so many debates over this matter suggesting that religion is not necessarily a reason for this sudden rise of terrorists around the world. In any case, be extra careful!

The weather in Antarctica is unsuitable for humans; the continent is always in the danger zone, facing storms and blizzards all year long. But, the most exciting thing about this continent is in case you throw boiling water in the air, it will immediately vaporize. But is it worth it?

These gorgeous and multi-cultural countries are also considered level 2 due to terrorist attacks. Lately, Extremists invaded Europe leaving the world terrified from any sudden attack.
