Lizard Island is a 10-square-km island that is located on the coast of the Great Barrier Reef, Australia. It is the home to 24 beautiful beaches and, well, lizards, but nothing to worry about, though. This gorgeous island has over 80 huts where you can rest your head.

The locals will cater you before you go hiking in the Cook’s Look, which is a viewing point that was named after Captain Cook, the British explorer who discovered the island in the 18th century.
