Of course, this spectacular geological place has to be included in this list. If you are willing to visit it, prepare to be overwhelmed and go into a full “awww!” moment when you witness how huge and gorgeous this place is.

The power of nature is presented by the Colorado River that carved its way through the rocks for 6 million years, deepening and widening it until the canyon was formed to what we currently see, creating the geological history in the sides.
The Grand Canyon was the home of many Native Americans who built caves and settlements all over that land.

The Spanish discovered this place first back in 1540, many decades later, it became a touristic destination and was welcoming over 44.000 visitors after it became a park in 1919. By 2016, the Grand Canyon received more than 6 million visitors.
