Don’t be fooled by its beauty because Horseshoe Lake is full of killing gases. Located in California, where the sun never hides, Horseshoe Lake allocates a high concentration of hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide.
Because of many small earthquakes, many natural deadly gases were released to the surface and caused many trees to around the lake to die. While visiting California, you may take a road trip to the Horseshoe Lake to witness this unique phenomenon. However, make sure to stay at least 15ft away from the lake to prevent any danger.
