Rio Tinto has blood-red water that presents a result of 5,000 years of mining pollution.
This river has high acidic levels of heavy metals such as silver, gold, and copper. Plus, and to add to our amazement, scientists have discovered that the river is a home of bacteria that is found in our solar system, such as Jupiter’s moon!

In fact, traveling to Rio Tinto is the closest we can get to other planets without actually leaving earth. Interesting, but it is still very dangerous. Make sure to have a life insurance before you book your ticket.
